dc.description.abstract | The Islamic State emerges as a measure of protection against the attacks that have been generated in the Middle East, begins with men who at one time were prisoners of the United States military, ISIS announced its birth in August 2014 and has grown stronger over the years. It is necessary to understand the Islamic civilization, without providing an accelerated judgment regarding the Muslim world, without pretending to justify the means used, but to demonstrate that there were antecedents that surrounded them to their conformation. For which it is necessary to determine the geopolitical interests that underlie the armed conflict between Western countries and the self-proclaimed Islamic State. Methodologically, the research was quantitative, through a bibliographic documentary analysis of contemporary authors, seeking to explain phenomena within their usual context, based on descriptions of people, behaviors, situations, events, interactions, taken from documentary sources, we arrive at generalizations, without pretending that the results are the only explanation of the facts. There is information segregated from the conflict with the Islamic State in which the geopolitical interests of the hegemonic powers lie, analyzing from geopolitics, there is a conflict of interest latent in history, and that although there are thousands of victims that this confrontation has left in its wake, none of the parties wishes to give in, because that means loss for some, both for the hegemonic countries of the West and the countries of the East, to which is added the absence of proposals for a political solution to the problem. | |
