dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of the following research work was the development of an external analysis of the company Patridasa SA of the Machala canton, province of El Oro, through the implementation of the transversal analytical methodology, obtaining direct information from the partners and officials. Of said organization, classifying information both primary, secondary and with the support of scientific journals that allowed analyzing and contextualizing various external factors that affect both positively and negatively the company mentioned above. It is known that small and medium-sized companies, SMEs, are in a changing condition over the years, where continuous processes of environmental analysis have been constantly changing, modifying the organizational structures of the company as an object of study, to have a broader view of the areas that must be strengthened to achieve business objectives, using two matrixes, where external factors are analyzed and evaluated (EFE) and the other that is the profile of opportunities and threats in the medium (POAM), where a certain amount of variables that cause an impact on performance was evidenced, and through this we try to make a correct decision making for the organization.
