dc.description.abstract | The conflicts between students, whether, physical or verbal, often occur everyday activities. The researches indicate that in case there is no mediation of the conflict between students, the school environment is affected, and the proper coexistence between boys, and girls. Therefore, when the teacher witnesses a conflict. He must proceed to mediate it immediately with purpose to prevent problems in the classroom. This monograph tackles the study of two big categories: the school conflict, and the teacher as a mediator. All it in the field of education. Starting from a bibliographical inquiry in the field of education, it is intended to show that teacher mediation in the resolution of conflicts between students generates a learning opportunity. For this research, it begins with the differentiation between the terms conflict, and violence, the definition of the school conflict is exposed, its most frequent causes, the positions of its actors. Then, a description of the category, teacher as mediator, to tackle the mediation, the mediator. The functions of the teacher as mediator at cognitive, and behavioral level. Based on the analysis of the two categories, are established the benefits generated by the teaching mediation of the scholar conflict. Also, are compiled some strategies to resolution of conflicts.
