Social well-being is an issue that has not been sufficiently addressed, especially regarding the welfare in the university's environment and its implications on the student's personal life. The objective of this study was to determine the levels of social welfare of students of the faculty of psychology at the University of Cuenca. The research was quantitative of exploratory scope. The instrument used was an adaptation of Keyes' five dimensions of welfare to Spain by Blanco and Díaz (2005) which was applied to 535 students of the faculty. The results suggest that the social psychology students have a greater social welfare; women appear to have a greater social welfare; in marital status, the single individuals present a greater social welfare; in the socioeconomic situation, families that are financial stable show a higher level of social welfare and in the work situation, individuals that are devoted to studying have a greater social welfare.
