dc.description.abstractThispresentresearchispart of the fundamental goal of developing a detailedanalysis of thesound variables thatexistwithin a movie, emphasizingtheblack humor film genre. Withinthisgenrethisresearchfocusesonanpractical audiovisual analysis of the director ToddSolondz, specificallyonhistrilogyaboutblack humor. Thisis a search of theconstantelements of thesounddesignthat are used in his films,WellcometotheDollhouse (1995), Happiness (1998), LifeDuringWartime (2009), and theseconstantelementsallow a biggerunderstanding of thesoundphenomenatestedwithin a story of black humor. Thefollowingwork has as itsmainobjectivetostudythesesoundelements of the films mentioned and hiscinematiccontextrelatedwiththeblack humor genre. Thus, thesesoundelements can be applied in thesounddesing of new cinematicstoriesduringtheirproduction and postproduction, specifically in themedium-length film cinco.cero.siete
