Propuesta de una ruta ecoturística en el parque nacional Sangay, Altar Urco del cantón Cañar

Abstract

The main goal of the intervention in the present proyect is to propose an eco-touristic route inside of Sangay National Park, Altar Urco of the Juncal parish, Cañar canton, due to natural wealth, historic and cultural value and also for its biodiversity it’s a great place for practicing ecotourism.

For the development of this work was made an analysis of the area with the methodology taking all the atractions from the Tourism Ministry where we evaluated all the cultural and natural potencial of the Juncal Parish with the finality to know its atractions that are excellent for developing tourism. Besides that we have classified and rank the capacity of the place to attract visits As a result of the Integrating project it has conclude than exist 34 tangible tourist attractions: 15 of them belongs to the natural category and 19 are cultural manifestations.

Besides that it has developed an touristic signaling scheme in the places before mentioned that give an extra value and motivated for been visited. In the other hand it has established the propose of the ecotouristic route in the Altar-Urco area called Cuna Canari where we can visit the areas of Loma Mama Urco, Laguna de Culebrillas, Qhapac nan, Paredones y Labrashcarumi places that should be rescued for its cultural and natural wealth, the tour is done in approximately for hours, fifty five minutes plus the time assigned for each activity for that reason is directed to the population between 25 and 45 years old that makes excursions
