Current solutions of connections between different structural elements made of prefabricated concrete does not fully guarantee the monolithic system, which are ineffective without “in situ” interventions, especially in seismic areas, which is why there is a need to study these kinds of connections. It is for this reason that the objective of this study focuses on the structural behavior, the strength and rigidity of the joints or connections of structural elements formed by walls and TT prefabricated-prestressed concrete slabs of constant and variable section. To do this, structural analysis was performed on the use of software SAP2000 V.17. with which the structure was modeled in combinations of length and section through two methods. The first is based on the use of “Frame” elements and the second through modeling the structure by finite elements. After the structure is modeled, the analysis and interpretation of the results were completed; where it can be concluded that TT slabs of variable section provide greater rigidity to the structure against TT slabs of constant section, reaching in this way to have more continuity, so it can have a monolithic behavior of the structure. Additionally, the TT slabs of variable section have a much higher shear resistance. They have a better behavior under lateral loads and a significant reduction in the deflections.
