| dc.description.abstract | This research focuses on the study of a section of the Qhapac Ñan between the sector of Migüir (near the Cajas National Park) and the Inca administrative center of Paredones de Molleturo, included within another larger segment that includes the Andean Road System (Camino del Inca) that crosses six South American countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru. This network of roads was a strategic element for the unification, growth and organization of the Inca empire; nowadays Cultural Patrimony of the Humanity.
The document begins by the theoretical framework on the conservation of Cultural, Natural and Archaeological heritage, continuing with the study of preventive conservation.
Subsequently, the analysis of two international case studies related to the cultural itinerary category and its experience in the application of preventive conservation is carried out, to conclude with reflection on the results obtained with the objective that serve as support for the proposed plan.
It continues with the diagnosis of the case study, it begins with an approach to the Qhapac Ñan; to then perform the examination of the object of study that focuses on four aspects: management status, physical and conservation status, patrimonial valuation and partner status - cultural. The problems encountered are summarized in two methodologies: problem tree and matrix F.O.D.A.
Finally, the plan proposal is presented as a response to the conservation needs determined in the diagnosis. | |
