dc.description.abstract | This thesis focuses on the creative process of “composing" which is not departing from the spirit of the Ecuadorian music, respecting all matters relating to structures, harmony, rhythm, scales, modes and characteristic own this music, linking the guitar technique. Will include sections with different compositional resources as a contribution of this work.
In the present format, own timbral effects of instrument used, the ras - gueo, drums, harmonics, pizzicato, ponticello Sull, staccatos; as to the melodic lines with trills ornamentation , trills and grace notes are working in two horns that recall das "style" as characteristic of Ecuadorian music played on guitar or requinto.
Divided into three chapters, the first, we recall the basic aspects of cultural diversity in the country, considering the term "culture" in a double sense, both as a "human cluster" and "as a body of knowledge" for then, using the historical method, describe key aspects of the Spanish conquest and its influence on music. Concludes by listing and describing briefly Ecuadorian music genres and compositional elements used.
The second chapter, by the historical method describes significant aspects of the evolutions of the guitar in the word and in Ecuador.
Chapter three is the same development of the compositions, highlighting the most important sections of each work and they deserve attention. It ends with the conclusions and recommendations that arrived in the preparation of this work. | |
