dc.description.abstractThe present investigation explores the teaching - learning of the lectric bass in the Ecuadorian hall, a qualitative approach is used with a descriptive method, through a structured questionnaire with its tool the interview is known the importance of the Ecuadorian corridor in the current music. It is also indicated that new lines of bordoneo should be implemented, maintaining the base of the classic corridor embodied in the old recordings from the Viennese Vals to the last lines taken from the recordings of the master Héctor (Manito) Bonilla in Los Violines de Lima en 1968 and find other options of accompaniment lines that will serve students to maintain the classic hall, is also based on the methodology of John Patitucci bassist and bassist specializing in the field of education, editing various teaching methods dedicated to teaching - learning of bassists. A didactic guide is proposed that will be very useful for the initial, intermediate and professional student. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations that strengthen the research process are determined
