Every place transcends eras through its people, who keep alive the culture and heritage of it. They also develop new features that are bonded in society and eventually become part of the cultural wealth. Idioms are a people of inheritance; and constant generation or acquisition of new expressions adapted to the vocabulary in a way or a different concept. These forms of expression are unique and therefore serve to distinguish one culture from another. The illustration is the cultural supplement of a society; seen from the point of social expression; as these are always the result of rejection or conformity of a people. What we want to generate with our project are characters that contain a significant burden of culture; integrating tangible and intangible values of the city compacted into three illustrations. They will depart from the study of idioms Cuenca, guided imaging the cuy, as well as characteristics of urban tribes of the city adapt. Finally they will be reflected by the print shirts, in order to show part of the culture in fashion textiles; thus promoting our socio-cultural wealth
