dc.description.abstractThis monography is focused on knowing and analyzing of the labor situation of the public relationist. We being by the theoretical bases, we turn to understand the title of this career: “Social Communication in Public Relations and Advertising”, I have focused mainly on the importance of Public Relations. Whereas that it is an arm in evolution and a discipline that has an essential presence within organizations, it contributes to the strategic management of communication of any organization. Surveys of the following variables were analyzed: academic training, professional practice, Graduates who are self-employed, degree of belonging to the institution and complementary aspects Each of the variables have served to infer the actual situation in which there public relations are within our townsman and national context, as well as recognize their weaknesses and strengths .
