dc.description.abstractThe Biographical Audiovisual Documentary “Don Daniel al Aire” is about the life and work of Daniel Pinos Guaricela, a prominent figure from the city of Cuenca who is recognized for his contributions to journalism and broadcasting. Through the use of archival material (compiled for years), audiovisual material, and the life story of an almost centenarian man, Don Daniel recounts part of his experiences and undertakings in places that marked him: Zaruma, Girón and Cuenca. It also has the participation of various characters who describe the cultural contributions of Pinos to society. Thus, the documentary goes through the three stages of audiovisual production: preproduction, production and postproduction, carry out by his youngest daughter, Daniela, who after realizing the character that she has as a father, she decides to make public the life of Don Daniel Pinos
