dc.description.abstract | In the study of the communication systems that are based on telecommunications, it is essential to know and understand amplitude modulation systems known as AM. However, the teaching-learning process cannot be complete without the mathematical and practical development of the theory. In the school of Electronics and Telecommunications, the Communication Systems subject and its laboratory is offered. Nevertheless, due to lack of equipment it was not possible to do the practical implementation of systems of modulation AM. Recently, the Faculty of Engineering has implemented a laboratory which includes equipment for the development of AM-systems practices, with which the gap would be solved. This work aims to establish a practice guide through the use of the existing equipment, which benefits the teaching-learning process of the Communication Systems subject.
This document details the design and development of laboratory practices for analog communications based on amplitude modulation with the use of the equipment TIMS and De Lorenzo. Every practice associates the theory with the practice through a theoretical framework, block diagrams and wiring diagrams. This allows the use of technical capabilities and the different functionalities of modules of each team. The practices have been developed incrementally in such a way that the student is gaining experience in the use of the modules and generation of signals. | |
