dc.description.abstractIn the present essay be analyzes and demonstrates the new way of manifestation of critical thinking under the influence of technology and social networks. Consequently critical thought in its current status in students of philosophy, sociology and economics of the University of Cuenca's career will be examined in the first instance. Subsequently, it will analyze technology and social networks to determine its influence along with the positive and negative aspects of using this in a connected society. Finally, the interrelationship between critical thinking and social networks in order to show the advantages and disadvantages of the interaction between these two elements will be studied. They will be taken as reference theoretical thinking of Zygmund Bauman and Gianni Vattimo, establishing the categories that will help in the social and philosophical analysis for a better understanding of the subject of study. Then with this the researchers propose new definitions for the analysis of the critical thinking, as well as new areas of research.
