The thesis developed consists of the creation of four works for solo guitar, using the musical rhythms yaraví, yumbo, danzante and sanjuanito, respectively. First, a brief historical review is prepared, which will allow identifying the musical characteristics that define these rhythms. This information is applied in the present research work with a morphological, structural, melodic and harmonic description of the works carried out, in order to demonstrate the methodology used in the process, applying the qualitative-descriptive approach, the inductive-deductive method and the experimental method. In second place is the explanation of the techniques of musical composition, among which is mentioned, modification of the motive, mixture of harmonies and description of the musical form with the parts that make up each work. Finally, a live presentation of the musical works is made. It should be noted that the present work offers the fingering for the execution in the instrument, in addition to the nomenclature considered useful in the description of the compositions for classical guitar
