dc.description.abstractDegree work is part of the research project “Method of Certification of Sustainable Housing Construction” Contest winner XIII Research Project at the University of Cuenca. The thesis presents a study and analysis of environmental, construction and energy factors of five homes in the city of Cuenca, to give has to know: type of housing, construction system and thermal transmittance of the envelope (U factor), also using the (NEC11) energy eficiency chapter be known that housing complies with current regulations regarding currently has ambient temperature and minimum internal factors thermal transmittance of the envelope. With the help of bioclimatic strategies and the use of a suitable construction system it will attempt to correct the problem of indoor environmental comfort.
