dc.description.abstractThis research monograph deals with the liberal revolution and its influence in the city of Cuenca, between 1895-1925. The reason for this study is to highlight the presence liberal city, with representatives such as Jose Peralta, Torres, Ullauri, which among other opponents as the Church and conservatives clashed. Furthermore it discloses the military resistance to the influence of the slogans of liberalism in the city, as well as changes products of this revolution, as the implementation of secularism with civil marriage, the law of mortmain, national education. In turn, they studied the consequences of the liberal program were in the city of Cuenca.
