dc.description.abstractIn the following research, strategies to facilitate the meaningful learning process in social studies in primary school was developed. Taking into account that the educational process is based on the use of methodologies with a mechanical memorization, which has not allowed students the development of the necessary skills to face other learning fields. For this work, bibliographic sources were compiled, reviewed and analyzed, such as physical and digital books, scientific articles and websites. All related to the topic presented. The results were obtained on knowledge and systematization of strategies to facilitate the creation of meaningful learning in the subject of Social Studies.
