Eficiencia eléctrica en alimentadores primarios de distribución de la Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centro Sur C.A.-Ecuador

Abstract

The main objective of this essay is to achieve the electricity efficiency in the primary feeders of distribution of the CENTROSUR; in order to achieve this endeavor, first, it has been necessary to accomplish an analysis of the indicators and available measurements on the quality of the product (index of quality) and secondly, the physical conditions and techniques that feeders currently have (losses). In order to make analysis easy, we proceeded to choose a feeder that has historically presented the biggest problems of reliability and quality; that feeder is number 0523.

Inside the analysis of the present conditions of functioning of feeder 0523, the CYMDIST computational program accomplishes the digital modeling for both, the present condition of the feeder and the implementation of corrective proposed measures which consist on the reconfiguration of the feeder and the balance of phases.

An evaluation is accomplished with the obtained results by means of comparative charts which indicate the achievements and the technical benefit of its implementation.

Finally the economic analysis of the measures proposed vs. the present conditions is accomplished, leaning on financial tools like the IRR, NPV, B/C, etc.
