dc.description.abstractThis monograph is focused on identifying tools of intervention from social work with vulnerable families, in order to optimize performance processes that enable the development and well-being of the subjects with which they work. In Chapter I, the concept of family is addressed in vulnerable situations, for it begins with a definition in general terms and recognizing their types, as well as the term vulnerability and risk is also specified, to get a clear idea of the actors social with which it is involved. In Chapter II, the intervention is conceptualized in Social Work and theoretical models that underlie the process performance of the profession with families in vulnerable situations are specified. Finally, Chapter III, it defined tools and applying them in the work of social work with vulnerable from the fields of action described families. Moreover the analysis and interpretation of data from the application of interviews according to the issue raised shown.
