The general objective of the present investigation was to analyze if the resilience is related to the perception of quality of life in people with physical disability. Because at the level of Ecuador, this type of research is still scarce despite its usefulness when designing programs focused on enhancing the welfare of this population. The research was carried out with a quantitative approach of descriptive scope. The sample was composed by 30 adults between 35 and 65 years of age , with a diagnosis of physical disability and who received care in Merchan Nicanor Center. Data collection was carried out through a sociodemographic survey and the following scales were used: Spanish Version of the WHOQOL-BREF Quality of Life Questionnaire (WHOQOL Group, 1996) and the Brief Resilience Scale [BRS] (Rodríguez-Rey, Alonso-Tapia y Hernansaiz-Garrido, 2016). Data analysis was performed using the statistical tool SPSS version 24.4, starting from a basic descriptive analysis, then proceeding with a descriptive level relational using bivariate correlations of Pearson. The results show that the study population reports average levels of quality of life in the analyzed domains (physical, psychological, social and environmental), with the physical domain being the most affected, and 63% of the participants reported Average levels of resilience. A moderate positive correlation was found between resilience and overall quality of life.
