dc.description.abstractThis thesis is entitled: THE COMMUNICATION OF THE CUENCA'S DAILIES ON SOCIAL NETWORKShas the objective of identify and recognize what’s the place occupied by social networks in the newspapers of Cuenca. For this we made a quantitative and comparative study of the accounts from: EL TIEMPO, EL MERCURIO, LA TARDE, and EL MORLACO DIGITAL, on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Flickr between the months of August, September and October of 2012. This analysis allowed conclude: in the newspapers of this town still using the vertical model of communication in social networks, like his traditional versions. Obviously this way of communication it’s not right but his accounts have a lot of influence especially in news events.
