The main objective of this research work was to determine prevalence of bile duct stones by ultrasound correlated magnetic colangioresonancia. The universe were all patients with gallstones who attend the Imaging Department of Hospital "José Carrasco Arteaga". The sample size was 100 patients, according to the variables in relation to their age, sex, location and morphological characteristics of the calculations on both ultrasound images like MRI. The processing and analysis of the results was performed in SPPS statistical software version 20. And the tables and graphs were made with the help of Excel software. The 72% of patients were performed and 74% colangioresonancia ultrasound, have an age greater than 41 years, there is no major diagnostic difference between these two studies. Of patients with lithos, 41 were males in all MRI visualize the lithos. While ultrasound is not visualized in one of them. In all female variant litho visualized both MRI and ultrasound. In MRI, 71.3% produced litos, located at the level of 25.3% gallbladder located in the common bile duct. Abdominal ultrasound of the 86 patients, 76.7% were stone-level localized gallbladder. The 20.9% present in the common bile duct. The 59.8% of patients had multiple litos, followed by 36.8% to a single litho, and 3.4% two lithos, in magnetic colangioresonancia. The most common sonographic feature in patients with presence of litho is hyperchoic with 100%. Accompanied with acoustic shadowing 78%. In magnetic resonance hypointense 65.5%, 34.5% by the absence of signal. Using MRI on average common bile duct size is 8,712, while the ultrasound is standard diverted 7,193 The MRI is 5.44. On ultrasound, the size is 5.93.
