In the search for alternatives to construction elements that comply with quality parameters, both in manufacturing and in operation, the use of concrete panels is proposed, under a sustainable construction approach, which proposes the use of recycled or out-of-use elements , for the elaboration of these elements. The purpose of this research project is to analyze the behavior of prefabricated non-structural panels of alternative concrete, incorporating rubber from out-of-use tires, under normal service conditions and determine if its use in construction projects is feasible from the point of view of security, economy, as well as its implication in achieving environmental sustainability. Through an experimental process, tests were carried out on the aggregates that formed the different concrete mixtures, to verify quality parameters. In order to define the optimum percentage of rubber, the incorporation of rubber in replacement of fine aggregate volume in different percentages was considered, selecting as an optimum percentage the concrete mixture that provided a compressive strength of 210 kg / cm2. The behavior of the panels in service conditions was analyzed, tested under compressive and transverse loads, their approval on site was verified based on service requirements. To analyze the feasibility of the panels, it was compared between the mixtures of alternative and standard design, from the economic point of view, as well as in the reduction of energy consumption and CO2e emission, which reflected an improvement in all these aspects.
