Self-concept in adolescents with cancer has been studied from several perspectives, in the present research is approached from the theory of AF5 Garcia and Musitu based on 5 dimensions (Academic, social, emotional, family, and physical). The main objective of this study was to describe the levels of self-concept that adolescents have with an oncological disease. Participants were 30 adolescents between 10 and 18 years old, who were undergoing chemotherapy treatment in SOLCA of the city of Cuenca. The research responds to a descriptive and cross-sectional study. The results indicate that family support is significant in the treatment of adolescents with cancer disease, also highlighting a positive perspective in the academic dimension. In conclusion, the self-concept of adolescents with cancer is not directly influenced by the disease.
