dc.description.abstractThis gastronomic guide of “El Oro” province is intended to highlight the gastronomy and culture of each of its fourteen districts. To achieve the objectives, this research is based on a field study done with the inhabitants in each district, thus determining both the typical dishes and premises that represent each district. The results of this research will be presented through a brief and concise description of the districts, a map showing the location of the favorite premises of each district, and finally, using a standardized recipe book of typical dishes. This research will contribute to the University of Cuenca as a literary acquisition that encourages the consumption of Orense cuisine, which can be used as a reference for both students and people in genera. Finally, its contribution will serve as advertising the premises that we recommend herein.
