Prevalencia y factores asociados a MOBBING en los estudiantes de la Escuela de Medicina. Cuenca 2014

Abstract

Objective: To determine the prevalence and factors associated with mobbing among students in the School of Medicine at the University of Cuenca, 2014.

Materials and Methods: A descriptive quantitative study of cross-sectional sample was obtained using the Epi Info program with a universe of 1553 students who are all students of the School of Medicine at this institution. To calculate the 15% frequency observed, worst acceptable 5, confidence level of 99.9%, obtaining a sample of 407 students, through EPIDAT version 3.1 program proceeded to the simple randomization was used. The instrument used was a previously validated form Cisneros Scale property. The results were processed in SPSS version 15.00 evaluation system.

Results: The study found that the prevalence of bullying in / as students of the School of Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences is the 21,6% frequency.

Conclusions: In the / as students of the School of Medicine there mobbing and associated social situations that were more influenced by mobbing was the degree.
