Observations will be held at Homer Castanier Hospital in the time period of 2011-2014. MATERIAL AND METHODS. It is a quantitative research, in which I used observation-based techniques, transcriptions and instruments as based on the verification of the number of twin pregnancies and the types of complications that are presented. The type of sources used was secondary. They were the following: reviews of medical records and statistical records twin pregnancies that were admitted to HOMER CASTANIER CRESPO Hospital. RESULTS. In total there was, as verified, 41 twin pregnancies that were admitted to HOMER CASTANIER CRESPO hospital throughout the years of 2011-2014. 48 complications were found in 41 twin pregnancies and 16 no complications presenting more risk of fetal maternal morbidity and mortality. CONCLUSION.This research allowed us to determine the postnatal complications and diamniotic monochromic twin pregnancies in women aged 15-45 years, therefore accomplishing our goal. Moreover, such pregnancies should be given strict monitoring from the beginning of their pregnancy to the end of it.
