dc.description.abstract | This research analyzes water conflict management strategies used by the leaders of water and their relationship with Sustainable Local Development. For this, a case study design was used, where two parishes were analyzed as case studies. The data were collected through interviews, observations and tests, and they were analyzed through qualitative and quantitative strategies. The results obtained show that: the types of conflict over water that predominate are of an intraorganizational nature and of a social nature, that occur among the users of the Water Boards; In terms of conflict management, leaders mainly apply the Negotiate, Compete and Avoid strategies, and to a lesser extent, the Cede, Collaborate and Mediation strategies; In relation to the Resolved Conflicts, the strategies that have given the best results are: Negotiate, Compete and Collaborate; Finally, it is determined that these strategies have a positive relationship with Sustainable Local Development, because it guarantees the human right to water, through its availability, its sustainable management and sanitation for all. | |
