Abstract

Capitalism has generated a mode of consuminggoods in whichacquisitivepowerisrequiredtosatisfydailyneeds. Manycitizenshavenotbeenabletofitintothesystemduetolack of opportunitiesorhazyambitions, increasingtherates of insecurity. Consequently, suchpeoplerushuponsocietygeneratingharm and rancor amongthepopulace. As a result, a securitynetwork has beencreatedtorehabilitatetheoneswhohaveinfringedonthelaws, permittingthemtodevelopphysical and intellectualcapacitiesforanadequatelifewithotherpeople. Planning a Rehabilitation Center fortheProvince of Cañar attemptsto show thattheopportunity of creating a spacetoeducatepeople, whobecause of inappropriatesituationshavecommitted abuses and haveto be isolatedfromsocietytoaccomplish a period of jailsentence, couldcreate a change in thepenitentiarymodel, both in internalpolitics and in infrastructure. It can alsocontributetodiminishinginadequatebehavior. Thisthesisproposalisaboutrehabilitation, basedonthepenitentiaryreality of Cañar, and onan integral scope of inmatesfor a correctreinsertionintosociety. Appropriateinfrastructureisimportanttosucceed in adequaterehabilitation. Appropriateinfrastructurepermitstheclassification of peoplewhohavereceivedsentence and peoplewhosepapers are in process. Nowadaysthisclassificationdoesnothappen. Thereis a requirementforinfrastructurethatpermitstheinmatestowork and tostudy in anenvironment of physical and mental health. Allthiscarriedoutwithoutlosingfamily links which are thefoundation of therehabilitationprocesses.
