The present work: CREATION OF A RANGE OF WOODEN FINISHES FOR EXTERIORS AND INTERIORS THROUGH BURNING AND CHARRED, is based on the Japanese technique of Shou sugi ban for the preservation of wood in outdoor environments. The technique consists in the carbonization of the face of the wood that is going to be exposed to the weather, sealed with water and application of natural oil. By means of carbonization, the waterproofing of the wood is achieved, as well as repelling the moths and causing the wood to present a retardant to the fire due to the fact that it has already been burned. The first part of the paper presents general concepts about wood and the technique to be used. In the second part we explain the step by step of experimentation with its results and finally in the third part we will choose a range of six finishes For exteriors and six interior finishes in search of offering a new proposal that encourages the use of wood from the hand of green construction.
