dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this graduation work is to analyze the role of the social worker in traumatic situations from the intervention model in crisis with the purpose of providing a professional action route, for which he presents a proposal of intervention model to Be applied by the professional in Social Work in the processes of family mourning to a congenital disability of a child. The methodological work includes a descriptive and deductive study since it uses different postulates and contributions from social work professionals, psychologists and therapists who are experts in this subject to create a theoretical basis for the proposal of an intervention model. As a research technique, bibliographical review and reading have been used for the selection and analysis of concepts and theories. As a general result, a model of intervention is available to the future professional, which can be applied when parents are informed about the presence of congenital disability in their son or daughter.
