The present work indicates the importance of looking for the adequate bibliography that allows framing the anarchist, liberal and socialist currents in their historical context, pointing out the evolution, where the various movements or doctrines that have been formed around each of these currents are presented, the main authors, the defenses and the criticisms that have been made. Both anarchism, liberalism and socialism have an end, each end is different, the anarchist does not want to live oppressed by what he wants to annihilate the State; the liberal, specifically the classic, is going to reject the authoritarian laws of the State but does not want to annihilate it, he only wants his actions to be minimal; and the socialist, seeks to improve the quality of life of people, the State must give to each one according to their needs, thus achieving equality in a cooperative society. From the aspects of these currents, the place that freedom has in each one can be identified. For this, several authors (the most important) of each current, in anarchism will be consulted: Mijail Bakunin, Piotr Kropotkin and Murray Rothbard; in classical liberalism to: Isaiah Berlin, John Locke and John Stuart Mill; and finally in socialism to: Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels and Gerrard Winstanley. With all the information collected on freedom in each stream, it is possible to determine which one responds with greater explanatory capacity and logical coherence to the different criteria (parameters) of adequacy established
