Manual de crowdfunding, producción de bajo presupuesto y financiamiento mediante nuevas tecnologías

Abstract

Film production in commercial instances is a widely discussed topic. In Latin America, although it is true that Argentina, Mexico and Chile stand out for their antiquity and modernization; Countries like Ecuador and Bolivia still carry out this activity in an artisanal way. This study aims to determine and theoretically define Low cost production and the Crowdfunding collective financing network as a tool for new technological financing alternatives, in the same way, theories and proposals on the state of low-budget production of two films and a short film that has covered part of its budget with Crowdfunding financing, these are: Wish I Was Here, Alba and “Cuatro Veces Siete” respectively, to conclude a Crowdfunding manual for audiovisual projects was prepared. For this, a bibliographic review was used in internationally recognized scientific and academic journals, in addition to digital repositories of prestigious national and international universities, the search terms chosen were: "production", "Low cost", "Crowdfunding", "I wish I was here", "Alba", "Four Times Seven". It is concluded that the effectiveness of this type of collective financing depends on key variables such as the trust of the contributors and the correct selection of the Crowdfunding modality. It is necessary to continue with the investigation of alternative financing channels, investigating solutions to promote the change of audiovisual production to more participatory and democratic methods
