dc.description.abstract | General background: normal spontaneous evolution is defined as a normal delivery that respects physiology, in which accompanying staff, in addition to ensuring the well-being of the mother and newborn, should provide emotional support (1).
Humanized childbirth is based on restoring the power of decision to women, re-specting their values, beliefs, feelings, trying to harmonize ancestral beliefs and medicine based on evidence (2).
Objective: to identify compliance with the rules of Humanized Delivery in Obstet-rics patients of Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital 2016.
Methodology: descriptive study of a population of 300 women attended in obstet-rics, demographic data and characteristics of Humanized Delivery were collected through a survey, the data were grouped and tabulated using Microsoft Excel and SPSS software for tables. Descriptive statistics were used for the analysis of the results, with frequency and percentages.
Results: the most frequent age was between 16 -20 years old with 30.0%; In terms of compliance with Humanized Childbirth standards, 94% had a respectful treatment, 7.7% had a companion, 58.0% were allowed to choose the position of childbirth, 67.7% were given Alternatives for pain management. At 80%, she had less than three vaginal touches. 95% had early attachment and 97% were given food (infusions).
Conclusion: the results showed that most of the characteristics of the Humanized Delivery were fulfilled | |
