dc.description.abstract | This research proposes: designing tourism products in the Talag parish, Canton Tena Canton, Napo Province, for the private tour operator CAVEMAN ADVENTURES; through the collection of primary and secondary information and excursions. A market study was carried out, the technical design of the tourist products and the economic and financial evaluation of the tourist product were developed. In the market study, the current offer was analyzed, identifying 4 tourist attraction, hierarchy III, 12 hierarchy II and 4 hierarchy I. As a competition, 5 operational tours were identified that offer products similar to those designed and the demand applied was determined 166 surveys to national and foreign tourists, establishing with this information, the profile of the tourist respectively, identifying great acceptance (approximately 83%) in both profiles, about the willingness to acquire a tourist package from the Talag Parish. In the technical design of tourist products, 5 tour packages were prepared that include the most important attractions and activities, as well as the available tourist plant facilities that provide the right conditions for the tourist operation. The economic and financial study determined that the initial investment would be $ 80201.30 giving a positive NPV of $ 113.924,82 and a ratio C/B of $ 2.53 (USD), the recovery time of the investment would be up to the fourth year, reaching an IRR . 36%. It is concluded that due to the great acceptance on the part of the tourist market, the variety of attractions and tourist activities, the design of new tourist packages favors the diversification of the current offer of the company CAVEMAN ADVENTURES, as well as an increase in its earnings.
