dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this degree research is to develop a logistics system for the collection and distribution of agricultural products for small producers in the Saraguro canton. It seeks to create an efficient system that will help producers reduce the time required to prepare and transport products. A descriptive research model was applied, focusing on the needs of farmers of perishable and semiperishable products. An initial diagnosis was made of the necessary practices suggested by the SCOR model and an analysis was made of the current situation of the process carried out by the producers; it was determined that the best practices and standard practices represent 13% and 0% compliance. The design of the logistics system is based on the development and study of the SCOR 11.0 model, which focuses on developing the processes necessary for the development of the activities, categorizing each of these processes and applying them correctly, analyzing the model's indicators to evaluate the planning, supply, production, distribution, and return of the products. A benchmarking was performed for the analysis and evaluation of the cycle time required for the distribution process, verifying that if applied in a collection center it is reduced from 6.04 to 5.15 days, i.e., a 15% reduction. The development of the improvement proposals is proposed, based on the application within a collection center, these procedures help to improve the process of raw material supply, processing, and distribution of finished products, all applying good agricultural practices under the guidelines of regulation and control of AGROQUALITY, also the location of the collection center in the parish of San Pablo de Tenta and the routing for the supply and distribution of products is proposed.
