Diseño de una granja agroturística para el cantón Colta provincia de Chimborazo.

Abstract

This research proposes to design an agroturistic farm for the Colta Canton, Chimborazo Province. For the study, 195 surveys were applied to the national and 192 for the International area, allowing to determine the tourist's profile with an acceptance of 96% by foreigner tourists, 93% by nationals, also has an unsatisfied demand of 106 842 tourists both nationals as well as foreigners, since the determined annual operating capacity is 75%. Furthermore, the product will be marketed through the internet by a website, social networks, and spots; but all this is within the 4C market strategies of the marketing mix (customer, cost, coexistence, and communication). In addition, the environmental study determined the negative impacts that the project would generate being 296 points and 318 positive points. The tourist product after analyzing the administrative legal part will be constituted as a mixed Company based in the Popular Economy and Solidarity Law. In this way, the project is economical and financially profitable, because its total investment is $ 497460,14 reaching a positive NPV of $ 116568., an RBC of 1.23, that is, for every dollar invested will be a profit of $ 0.23 cents, but the PRC is between the fourth and fifth year, and the TIR of 20%, being these values favorable to investment. In sum, it is recommended to manage its execution by the Tourism Unit from Colta Municipality, whose purpose will contribute to the strengthening of tourism activity and will allow achieving socio-economic development and good living of the local population.
