| dc.description.abstract | This research propose: A designing of the plan to safeguard the cultural heritage of Paccha community located in the Llagos parish of Chunchi canton; and strengthen the living memory and revalue the symbolic spaces, starting with the situation assessment of the community, then the heritage inventory, using the index card by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage, getting as a result 21 cultural events. It has also developed the validation of these events to analyze what representations have the characteristics of the cultural heritage described such as; linking the index cards with the cultural heritage, intergenerational transmission and validity, representativeness and community recognition, respect for human rights, equality, respect for diversity, social sense – cultural and authenticity. It was found that are Local Intangible Cultural Heritage: The legend of the Caregivers of Puñay, Popular games for the celebration on May 23rd, The feast in honor of the Virgin Mary Help, Community minga, pumpkin soup, morocho milk, potatoes with guinea pig and Puñay Mount, then analyzing the SWOT matrix were identified as result the critical nodes and the key success factors, being the bases for the formulation of strategic objectives and strategies, finally designing 5 programs and 16 projects that strengthen safeguard axes. It is concluded that the Paccha community is a population that has great historic value, represented mainly in knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe, both symbolic spaces and traditional techniques also productive knowledge, so the plan is designed to strengthen, energize and revitalize cultural events, to achieve the development of Good Living and contribute to the promotion of the creation of cultural industries.
