The aim of this research was to determine the effect of Trichoderma harzianum and Trichoderma longibrachiatum on the growth of Chionanthus pubescen, Eucalyptus cinerea and Cupressus macrocarpa at nursery level. The study included the activities of identification of the forest species, collection and sowing of seeds, replanting or transplanting, preparation of the experimental block with the 15 treatments and 4 replicates each, inoculation of Trichoderma spp, irrigation, data collection of the variables plant height, diameter at collar height (DAC) at 15, 30, 45, 60 and 75 days after transplanting (dt) and leaf count at 75 days after transplanting (dt) in the field phase, total fresh weight, root length, leaf dry weight and root dry weight in the laboratory phase, and finally the calculation of Dickson's index and statistical analysis of data in R in the office phase. The results of the research work showed that with Trichoderma harzianum the plants of Chionanthus pubescens had significant positive response in the variables plant height, total fresh mass, foliar dry mass, for Eucalyptus cinerea in the variable root length and in the case of Cupressus macrocarpa in the variables total fresh mass and foliar and root dry mass, with Trichoderma longibrachiatum had only significant positive response the plants of Chionanthus pubescens in the variable root dry mass. It was concluded that the three vegetal species in study had better reaction and greater positive significance with the inoculation of Trichoderma harzianum. It is recommended in the research with Trichoderma to use the different species as growth promoters in forbidden forest specimens of difficult propagation at nursery level and as pre-germinative treatments for plants of slow growth.
