The present degree work was carried out with the objective of proposing an action for the operation plan of Post COVID 19 urban public transport in San Pedro de Pelileo Canton. The development of the research was based on a field study to identify the current situation of urban transport in the face of the health crisis, a qualitative and quantitative methodology was used, based on the application of surveys directed to the population of the 6 study parishes of the canton determined in the sample; With the application of this survey, information was obtained such as: the number of units that have biosafety equipment, corroborating that 67% do not have this contingency measure, so 99% of users consider that it should be carried out a frequent control by the authorities, to verify that the preventive measures are fulfilled so as not to get Covid-19; Observation sheets were also applied in the 19 units to verify if they comply with the measures established by the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), allowing to verify that 89% of the units do not have signage to identify the disabled positions, 63% do not have disinfection trays and 84% do not perform a daily disinfection of the unit after having completed their circuit. As a result, it was possible to establish a series of strategies with their respective technical and strategic guidelines to counteract the effects of COVID 19 in urban transport units. In conclusion, transport is in a recovery process, so it is recommended to consider this research as a guide to anticipate different situations in transport.
