In the present work of degree was analyzed, designed and implement an autonomous system of filling and inspection of pills on a blister sealing machine, trying to increase efficiency in the primary packaging of pills in Neo-drug laboratories and reducing human resources and materials used in the process. The system was developed in two stages, the first one is about the filling equipment, a machine which randomly distributes the tablets on the thermoformed blister by means of horizontal and vertical rotary movements, has an angular velocity that can be regulated depending on the degree of hardness of the pill, or the amount of powder that can be released, in addition, control was provided for starting and stopping the equipment, the second stage to ensure the integrity of the final product that will become a packed and distributed, to achieve this purpose an artificial vision algorithm was developed running on an ARM Cortex-A53 microprocessor which detects incomplete blisters and then expels them by means of a burst of air from the production line to an alternative tray for the reuse or recycling of resources by other methods. It was concluded that the filling equipment improves the productivity with respect to the workers by 4.45% on the total produced, while the inspector and ejector team achieved an efficiency of 97.96% with respect to the operator. It is recommended to avoid high rotary speeds especially with uncoated pills and apply methods that stabilize the light required by the inspector system.
