dc.description.abstract | The following investigation's objective was the analysis of the process of pre-professional practices of the Facultad de Informática y Electronica (FIE) of Escuela Superior Politecnica de Chimborazo for the automation of the process with the development of the computer system for monitoring pre-professional practices. An experiment design was carried out that analyzed the variable "time in carrying out the processes of pre-professional practices", the first part of the experiment, the time was estimated by applying interviews and surveys a sample made up of 65 students, 32 tutors and 8 officials; In the second part of the experiment the measurement of the time that the computer system takes to perform such processes, using direct observation, the number of tests performed to measure the times is similar to the sample of the first part experiment. The experiment compared the time of the processes with and without the use of the computer system, so the statistical method was used and that allowed the description and the inference of results. The agile SCRUM development methodology was also used together with the architecture pattern Model View Controller (MVC) plus the Java Server Pages technologies (JSP) and the PostgreSQL database. The main result was that the use of the computer system allowed the reduction of time by 93.26%, so it is concluded that the computer system improves access to information on pre-professional practices in the FIE It is recommended the use of the application for the pre-professional practice process of the School. | |
