The objective of the present clinical case is that its symptoms are very nonspecific and many times the entity is diagnosed after performing an imaging study because the physical examination detects the appearance of a mass at the abdominal level. Likewise, its management is controversia! and represents a challenge for the pediatric surgeon. The objective is to present the most accurate parameters for its diagnosis, including clinical data and complementary examinations that allow us to perform an adequate management of this entity. In this titling research work, the presentation of a clinical case that was found in the General Hospital of Latacunga is made. A 13-year-old male patient with a history of necrotizing pancreatitis. Surgical intervention in this health house, going to it for postsurgical controls. in one of them we observed left hypochondrium growth and palpation of a mass. An abdominal ultrasound was performed , finding an ecolucid image in pancreatic tail related to pancreatic pseudocyst. Surgical drainage was performed, after which the patient presented a favourable evolution, he was observed during 23 days in the Paediatrics department and after his discharge he had made controls by externa! consultation, the same ones that have been found within the normality according to the condition of the patient. The presentation of PP is rare in the paediatric age, therefore, its diagnosis and management become ambiguous. To be a rare entity, there are no studies conducted in our country.
