dc.description.abstractIn this research work, a maintenance plan for the catchment, water treatment plant and reserve tanks systems of EP EMAPAR were developed applying the Reliability Centered Maintenance methodology abbreviated. The first point of this work was to perform the maintenance management evaluation using the Delphi methodology and AHP developed in the “Audit model to evaluate the maintenance management of physical assets based on international regulations applied to the study case: Unión Cementera Nacional (UCEM) Chimborazo plant”, applied to EP EMAPAR, in which was possible to find different points of improvement to reach a better level of reference in the management of maintenance. As a second point, the maintenance plan was drawn up, through a process that began by gathering information, updating the inventory and the coding under the guidelines of the ISO 14224 standard, to later perform the critically analysis of purified water systems using the qualitative method, where it was obtained that the 31% of systems are semi-critical and 69% are critical systems, which is essential to select a suitable maintenance model. Later, the abbreviated RCM methodology was applied obtaining 1433 tasks with their respective frequencies and maintenance logistics for all systems. The next step was registering the information the Computer Aided Maintenance Manager (GMAO), which allowed storing the maintenance plan in an orderly and systematic way. Finally, the staff of the EP EMAPAR was trained on the maintenance plan and the GMAO, helping to improve maintenance management in EP EMAPAR, in addition, it is recommended to implement the maintenance plan carried out in this curricular integration work.
