Propuesta de restricciones vehículares para el mejoramiento de la movilidad urbana en la ciudad de Riobamba, provincia de Chimborazo

Abstract

The proposal of vehicle restrictions for better mobility in the Riobamba city, Cimborazo province, its objetive to reduce traffic congestion that exists in the urban área of the city, using techniques and tools necessary for a correct circulation. The proyect was carried out through the application of surveys all of the Riobamba population and observation cards at the main intersections of the city; which made it possible to identify that the problema is found in the important roads of the city and it was found that the inhabitants are mobilized, causing traffic congestion every day of the week, delays when moving to their destination and long queues wait, for this reason,it is proposed to créate a vehicular restriction that helps decongest the mainroads so that citizens can arrive on time to carry out their activities. Finally, it can be stated that the Riobamba city is suitable and meets all the parameters to be implemented a vehicular restriction for the Benefit of all; recommending socializing the Project to the public through advertising media.
