dc.description.abstractThe present research work aims to design a gastronomic route that integrates from Tena, Puerto Napo and Misahualli parishes, for promoting the typical and traditional cuisine in Tena canton, Napo province, in 2018. The ethnography was carried out with a cone based on the information available to aforementioned Parish GADs, in order to determine the feasibility 383 surveys were conducted in the three parishes, which made it possible to identify the need to prepare the Gastronomic Route. With this information, the most representative places were located where the typical and traditional dishes that are included in this research. The results emphasize the information obtained from the fieldwork, the surveys and interviews that highlight the great gastronomic potential at place, which it is embodied in the design and creation of the first gastronomic route of the canton that will give way to community development with tourism activity. It is concluded that the creation of a gastronomic route is feasible since in the parish governments, they do not have the necessary information to promote the community tourism in this zone. Therefore, it is recommended that the pages of parish GADs promote places that offer traditional and traditional food, as well as owners premises should be trained in what is presentation from place, customer service and attention in general.
