dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this research was to prepare a gastronomic guide for the promotion of tourism in the Alausí canton of Chimborazo province, its population was made up of the 14 restaurants and 6 tourist sites. It was evidenced as gastronomic problems that there is a medium level of information about the establishments, tourist places and services offered to the consumer, so it was decided to design the gastronomic guide giving a greater focus and interest in the main restaurants and tourist places, with the more representative data of the place as the location, telephones, star dish and service that provide knowing more about this beautiful Alauseño shelter, promoting the gastronomic touristic development of the canton.
