Plan de Negocios para la mecanización de la mano de obra de fincas de la Unión de Organizaciones Campesinas Cacaoteras del Ecuador UNOCACE

Abstract

This research work aimed to carry out a business plan to provide the agricultural mechanization service in the Unión de Organizaciones Campesinas Cacaoteras de Ecuador (UNOCACE), taking as a central point Milagro canton, Guayas province, to improve the productivity of associated producers. It was performed an internal and external analysis of UNOCACE, using several administrative techniques that determined the situation, in addition, the application of surveys to a significant number of producers of UNOCACE, specifically of the May 02 associations and in "El Deseo" area specifically in "Villanueva" association, including a small talk with the designated presidents of each association to know the problems that most incur between producers. It was obtained supply and demand data, and at the same time, it was evidenced that several producers need this service of mechanized labor or agricultural mechanization. Through the indicators such as the NPV (net present value) of $ 107,695.61, and IRR (internal rate of return or profitability) of 45.05% and a Benefit-Cost Ratio (RB / C) of $ 1.70 and a breakeven point from $ 106131.17. These indicators confirmed the feasibility of implementing agricultural mechanization towards the associated producers of UNOCACE, which will improve significantly the production not only of cocoa but also of their other crops and it is recommended to UNOCACE to implement the business plan.
